New Support Team, iPHAST launches
What: Sherry Borzo, founder of the local personal publishing service Storied Gifts, announced the launch of iPHAST, a new support team designed to help individuals with preserving personal and family history. iPHAST (individual Personal History and Archives Support Team)will feature local experts from in and around Des Moines, discussing writing as well as video and photo archival preservation. Ms. Borz, a member of the Association of Personal Historians, founded iPHAST with the goal of helping others with the processes of chronicling their family history. Ms. Borzo states that her successes in the arena of publishing personal life stories ". . . is owed to the simple truth that after all, there the most important history in the world is your own." the first iPHAST meeting will be held February 23, 6 p.m. at Smokey Row Coffee Shop, 1910 Cottage Grove. There is no charge to attend.
