Transportation Options (2016)

APH Annual Conference 2016 · Kick It Up

The Fort Worth Transportation Authority, known locally as The T, offers rides all over Fort Worth, including routes to popular attractions like the Stockyards National Historic District and the Fort Worth Cultural District. Molly the Trolley, a free downtown trolley, stops right outside the Sheraton Hotel.

The T also operates Trinity Railway Express, which provides rail transportation between Fort Worth and Dallas and transfer access to DFW International Airport. In downtown Fort Worth, hop aboard at the historic T&P Station just a block from the hotel.

 

 

Driving & Hotel Parking

Downtown Fort Worth is only 17.5 miles from Dallas/Fort Worth International Airport (DFW) Note: Southwest Airlines does not fly into DFW. Southwest flights arrive and depart from Love Field Airport, Dallas (DAL). Love Field is approximately 35.3 miles from downtown Fort Worth.

SuperShuttle
A special APH discounted rate from either DFW or DAL is available on SuperShuttle with advance reservations, which you can make for either airport. Trip must be booked in advance to receive discount rate of $15 (each way) for DFW or $32 (each way) for DAL.

Taxis
The flat rate from DFW to downtown Fort Worth is $51 one-way (including DFW Airport exit and fuel surcharge).
